Bees Wax Food Wraps

Learn how to design, print and make your own set of three Bees Wax Food Wraps, creating your own eco-friendly alternative to cling film.

Naturally anti-bacterial, the wraps act as a protective layer when storing fruit, bread and covering dishes in the fridge. Best of all they wraps make a packed lunch or picnic look all the more colourful whilst being very thoughtful on the planet.

The wraps can be hand washed, line dried and re-ironed, so they provide months worth of use. Your hands give off just enough heat to make the wax slightly softer so the fabric sticks, providing the perfect seal.

Claire will take you step by step designing a repeat pattern before cutting out your lino print and using ink stamps to print onto cotton sheets. You’ll leave the class with three x A4 sized wraps, and the knowledge to maintain them and keep on making more of your own.
